Adobe Illustrator is a fantastic program, but I won't surprise many of you when I state that Adobe Illustrator is not the easiest program to adopt on your own. I have taught inexperienced users from basic levels that are responsible for creating medical reports, illustrating machine parts, converting hand-drawn illustrations to digital, all the way up to more advanced folks that create interactive art and high-end design for print and fashion. Every one of these people need to understand core fundamentals that can make their job (no matter what the function) easier and less stressful.
