About the Author:
Ben Okri was born in Nigeria and now lives in London. He has published fiction (short stories and novels), poetry and essays. He has won numerous prizes for his work.

Ben gave two fantastic lectures at the Edinburgh Festival last weekend and THE HERALD ran the excellent speech he gave for Scottish PEN on self-censorhipon 11 September.
