Kevin Bales is Emeritus Professor at Roehampton University and Visiting Professor at the Wilberforce Institute for the Study of Slavery and Emancipation. Zoe Trodd is a member of the Tutorial Board in History and Literature at Harvard University. Her books include Meteor of War: The John Brown Story and American Protest Literature.
