PreSchool-Grade 2-- In folksy, singsong verse, a young girl tells about her relatives, e.g., "I got a Grampy, loves me sweet,/Takes me to Frosty's for a treat." Each family member--Great-Gran, Uncle, Auntie, Brother, Daddy, and Mamma--share special activities and a special place in the child's heart. Although the story is slight, the rhythm is consistent and pleasant. Dancing along with the rhymes are the poster-paint illustrations, with flat, bright colors and clean shapes outlined in black.
