Tales from Toddler Hell: My Life As a Mom - Hardcover

Another contribution to the literature of what it's like to be a mother and how those kids have ruined (read: changed for the better, I wouldn't have it any other way) my life, this book is in actuality much tamer than it sounds. In fact, it's rather predictable. To anyone who has had children, the situations described are almost routine. Light humor prevails, and the philosophical bent Leonard takes at the close of each essay keeps the reader from believing that motherhood is, indeed, toddler hell. The title promises much but, for those looking for the gory details of the nursery and destroyed marriages, delivers little. Since first serial rights have been sold to Redbook , Good Housekeeping , and Parenting magazines, libraries subscribing to these may wish to pass by this book.
