You could see in the plum, the tiny seeds, the tiny white hair on the plum. This was done with tiny brush strokes of a master. The painting must be 6' wide. You feel like you could pull up a chair. If the plums aren't crazy enough, he did an impasto on the table cloth nearest you, it gave it form and reality. It truly felt like you could sit at this table. My cousin jokes about take a picture, it's faster. Truly beautiful masterpieces , A book doesn't do them justice.
