About the Author:
Don Gillmor is the author of several children’s books, published in many countries, including The Fabulous Song, which won the Mr. Christie Book Award and was nominated for the Governor General’s Literary Award. Michelle Campagne is a founding member of the folk-roots group Hart-Rouge, which has released more than 10 albums. The single "Inconditionnel" earned them a SOCAN Award, for one of the most played songs on French commercial radio in 1990. Over the last 20 years, the band has performed throughout the world including appearances at the legendary Newport Folk Festival and the Francofolies festival in Larochelle, France. She lives in Drummondville, Quebec. Davy Gallant is a multi-instrumentalist and record producer who has worked with Roch Voisine, Garou, Chloé Ste-Marie, Connie Kaldor, Lennie Gallant, and Kaïn, among others. He lives in Drummondville, Quebec. Marie-Louise Gay has received the Vicky Metcalf Award, the Governor General’s Literature Award twice, the Ruth Schwartz Award, the Mr. Christie’s Book Award, the Elizabeth Mrazik-Cleaver Canadian Picture Book Award, the Amelia Frances Howard-Gibbon Illustrator's Award, the Marilyn Baillie Picture Book Award, and has been nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award as well as the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. She lives in Montreal, Quebec.
