What is the Joshua Principle? It is found in Joshua 1:8: "The Book of Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success." The Joshua principle is a challenge to keep the Word in our mouths "day and night." To be filled with it, to be girded by it, to be in it, to "meditate on it." This is what Mary did when she received the word she was pregnant from God.
