About the Author:
Chef John Wilson is a certified chef and a graduate of the prectigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde, Park, NY. After working for more than two decades in the restaurnat industry Chef Wilson startted Culinary Vacations, Inc. a cooking school vacation with locations in France, Italy and Spain. In the states he offers Weekend Gourtmet Getaways in Asheville, NC as well as Atlanta, GA. Chef Wilson combines his love of food, wine and travel with his knowledge as a certifed professional to bring expertise to the table in Europe.

The book, Tales from a Tuscan Table, by Chef John Wilson's filled with 10 years worth of stories about his students, classes and misadventures in Tuscany, along with regional recipes and watercolor scenes. Wilson jokingly says, "The names have been changed to protect the guility." His plan to write additional books about the week long cooking courses he teaches overseas, where he inspires his students to think seasonally, which is part of the European was of cooking.
