These twenty-three new tales of Eire, gathered from authors in four countries, capture the spirit of the Irish at home and abroad. From the ancient past on the wild west coast and devout 6th-century monks braving uncharted seas to explore the mysterious land across the Atlantic to the gritty streets of modern Dublin, they will engulf the reader with the sights and sounds, the loves, losses, humour, and myths of the Emerald Isle, no matter where that reader calls home.
