Dr. Kowey is an internationally respected expert in heart rhythm disorders. He attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and trained in cardiology at Harvard. For the last 30 years, he has developed a large referral practice in Philadelphia. His research has led to the development of dozens of new drugs and devices for the treatment of a wide range of cardiac diseases. He has authored hundreds of scientific articles and textbook chapters. LETHAL RHYTHM is his first work of fiction. He lives in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania with his wife Dorothy and their three Portuguese water dogs.
