Criminal Justice Procedure, 8th Edition, gives clear guidance based on constitutional case law with regard to the most common questions faced by law enforcement. From arrests to vehicle searches to the difficult issue of hot pursuit, this revision of one of the most well-regarded texts in the field offers a fresh look at key procedures. Updated by Stacy Moak, a scholar whose research deals with legal aspects of criminal justice, this revision includes features that support the development of reasoning and critical thinking skills. Unlike case books, Criminal Justice Procedure, 8th Edition provides the information, tools, and features needed for practical application of criminal law.
Stacy Moak is currently teaching in the Criminal Justice Department at Troy University. She was formerly at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she served as Graduate Programs Coordinator as well as director of the Juvenile Justice Center, which she founded in 2006.
