John Gabriel Borkman by Henrik Ibsen - The Borkman family fortunes are dwindling due to the imprisonment of John Gabriel who used his position as a bank manager to gamble with his investors' money. The action of the play takes place eight years after Borkman's release when the family discuss young Erhart Borkman's future.

About the Author:
Nicholas Wright's Vincent in Brixton won rave reviews and the Olivier Award for Best Play. The West End production was subsequently seen on Broadway. His adaptations include Pirandello's Naked and Wedekind's Lulu, as well as the new His Dark Materials and Chekhov's Three Sisters, both for the National Theatre in London.
