When mother buckles Zachary and Carolyn into the car and kisses them good-bye, the plucky pair sets off on an adventure more exciting than anything they have seen on their television screen. Their trip to Grandfather's sunny studio is just the first leg of an incredible journey that takes them to the land of the dinosaurs, the caves of Stone Age story-tellers, and then smack into a herd of stampeding buffalo on the North American plains.

It is a journey into the world of dreams and imagination, a world where travel has no limits.

Lisa Suhay, fabulist and mother of three, and Louis Glanzman, esteemed portraitist, illustrator, and grandfather many times over, have collaborated to create a sparkling and colorful adventure story, featuring two spirited new heroes for young readers. Boys and girls will be agreeing with Carolyn when she says, THAT WAS FABULOUS! WHERE TO NEXT?

About the Author:
The author, Lisa Suhay is a columnist and news correspondent for the New York Times and the author of Tell Me a Story and Tell Me Another Story, collections of original fables. The concerns of her writing range over issues of social justice, family harmony, and the life of the spirit. Dream Catchers is her first illustrated children's book. Mrs. Suhay, her husband, and their three sons reside in Medford, New Jersey.

For more than five decades, the art of Louis Glanzman has captured the events of our history for the covers of the Saturday Evening Post, National Geographic, and Time magazine. He is perhaps most fondly known, however, as the man who brought to life the red-headed heroine of Pippi Longstocking. Now Louis Glanzman gives us Carolyn and Zachary, new heroes for a new century. Mr. Glanzman and his wife currently live in Medford, New Jersey.
