About the Author:
Susan Easton Black has taught at BYU since 1978. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, a master’s degree in counseling, and a Ph.D. in educational psychology. The winner of the Karl G. Maeser Distinguished Teaching Award, she has written numerous books, including Who’s Who in the Doctrine and Covenants and Joseph Smith: Impressions of a Prophet. Andrew C. Skinner, dean of Religious Education and professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University, hold a master’s degree in theology from Harvard University and a Ph.D., in history from the University of Denver. A popular speaker, he is the author of Gethsemane, Golgotha, and The Garden Tomb.
