The ghost put his hands together in prayer or pleading, his fingernails withered and cracked. 'We need you, Isis Dunbar...' Isis is the daughter of a fake psychic. But unlike her mum, Isis really can see ghosts. When a terrifying creature escapes from the dark places that even spirits fear to go, Isis realises that it puts everyone she cares about, living or dead, in grave danger. Will her powers be enough to protect them all? And who will protect Isis? From the award-winning author of Flood Child.

'I was enchanted, gripped and freaked out by this book in a way I haven't been since The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.' - Liz Bankes, Armadillo Magazine

'You will want to race through this book to see whether Isis has the powers to protect the people she loves.' - Guardian Children's Books site

'An exciting story, full of high-speed drama and breath-taking escapes, and it comes highly recommended, though maybe not for the faint-hearted.' - The Bookbag

'Diamand’s plotting is adept, and she excels at the perennial comedy of showing how childish and selfish adults can be compared with children.' - The Times

'I thought Ways to See a Ghost was really unique - I didn't quite expect an adventure story featuring UFOs, romance, let alone ghosts and deadly ones at that! If you're into ghosts (or even if you're not) I highly recommend Ways to See a Ghost!' - Books4Teens
