Nancy Libbey Mills grew up in Stockton, California, graduated from Lincoln High School and went on to graduate from Oregon State University. Her awards include the 1961 North Stockton Duncan Yo-Yo championship. Her other books include Hug a Bug, Never Eat Cabbage on Thursday and And Dance with the Orange Cow. She wrote the lyrics to the Jim Salestrom CD Welcome to Garden Street. She lives in Colorado.
