About the Author:
Leysa was a primary school teacher and then a primary literacy consultant for nearly 20 years. She now writes children’s eco-adventure stories to raise awareness and money for each topic the book is based on. Her next book, The Woodland King, will be out next April and is an intriguing story that includes historical events starting from the beginning of World War 2 right through to 2017 and follows the life of the woodland. The narrator is only revealed in the last chapter. It is a powerfully emotional story of the people and animals that inhabit the woodland. She also writes teacher’s resource books.
