Sous un soleil de plomb, Tavo nettoie les piscines des villas les plus chics de Don Torcuato, près de Buenos Aires, quand il entend soudain un coup de feu. L’événement sort le laveur de piscine de sa routine, entre la femme qu’il aime, son jeune fils en fauteuil roulant suite à un accident de rugby et son beau-père policier en retraite. Assassinat ou hallucination ? Tavo est précipité dans un enchaînement de péripéties et de mauvaises rencontres, hanté par le souvenir de son ami et collègue Yuyo, au verbe coloré et improbable, qui a fini électrocuté dans une piscine. Une errance truffée d’inventions langagières dans la périphérie de Buenos Aires, un univers fait de quartiers résidentiels fermés, de bidonvilles, de clubs de sport, de terrains vagues et de bases militaires.

About the Author:
Félix Bruzzone est né en 1976 à Buenos Aires. Il a été instituteur durant quelques années avant de se consacrer au nettoyage de piscines, à l’écriture et à Tamarisco, maison d’édition indépendante dont il est l’un des fondateurs. Son oeuvre a déjà été récompensée par le prix Anna Seghers en 2010. Félix Bruzzone vit actuellement avec sa famille à Don Torcuato, petite localité à trente kilomètres de la capitale argentine, dépeinte dans Solarium. Son premier roman Les Taupes est également paru chez Asphalte.
