The Australian edition of a Harper's Brothers book; illustrated by F.Y. Cory. Octavo, 7 1/2" tall, 272 pages, white titles on light blue cloth. With minor rubbing at all extremities, some color fading along the back strip, light exterior soiling; a slight cant to the spine, hinges cracked but secure, binding solid, text paper clean, lightly yellowed with darkening to the fore-edges.

The couple reviews advice also from books and magazine. A boy is born, and his care and day-to-day rearing is at there center of this work, amusingly told, illustrated with numerous line art pieces within the text. "F. Loeser & Co. Brooklyn Book Store": tiny blue & white paper sticker inside front cover, and upside down. Very good. No dust jacket. Signed by previous owner. Slight back cover scuffing. Minor spine tilt. pp. 244-245: seam slightly weak. Else fine and clean. 1.
