Book
Taschenbuch. Kartoniert. Condition: Gut. Erste Auflage dieser Ausgabe. 358 (10) Seiten. 18,6 cm. Umschlaggestaltung: semper smile. Guter Zustand. - Richard Yates (* 3. Februar 1926 in Yonkers, New York; 7.

Trade paperback. The author's very powerful first novel, nominated for the National Book Award, originally published in 1961. Yates is probably one of the most underappreciated writers of our time - although recent comments by Kurt Vonnegut (who called this book 'the Great Gatsby of our time') and others have begun to rectify this situation. Movie tie-in edition with a photograph of DiCaprio and Winslett on the front cover. 355 pp. Fine in glossy illustrated wrappers.
