Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. Gorey, Edward (illustrator). The jacket is creased, shelf stained, chipped at the edges with a biro squiggle across the clock. It also suffers from loss at the head of the front flap which has caused minor damage to the edge; there's an ownership signature on the front end paper and another biro squiggle on the back end paper, this one more substantial than the one on the jacket. The verso of the front end paper carries a small stain and minor foxing as does the following page. The jacket is not pretty, but apart from described faults, the body of the book is in very good condition, clean, unmarked and solid. Oblong format, every second page is an illustration, unpaged. First British edition.
